Macaroni and Cheese Casserole
1 package (16 oz.) San Giorgio® Elbows, uncooked
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
5 cups milk
4 cups (16 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions. Heat oven to 350° F. In large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter or margarine. Blend in flour, salt and pepper; gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and mixture begins to boil. Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted. In 3 quart casserole dish, stir together pasta and cheese sauce. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 8-10 servings.
