Nestlé Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, 24 oz
Original Nestlé® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12 oz.) Nestlé® Toll House® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts*
*If omitting nuts, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies
Pan Cookie Variation: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Prepare dough as above. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.
Makes 4 dozen bars
For High Altitude Baking (3,500 to 6,000 feet): Increase flour to 2 1/2 cups. Add 2 tsp. water with flour and reduce both granulated sugar and brown sugar to 2/3 cup each. Bake drop cookies for 8 to 10 minutes and pan cookie for 17 to 19 minutes.

2 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup (6 oz.) Nestlé® Toll House® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts
1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell*
Sweetened whipped cream of ice cream (optional)
*If using frozen pie shell, use deep-dish style, thawed completely. Bake on baking sheet; increase baking time slightly.
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spoon into pie shell.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Chocolate Satin Pie
1 prepared 9-inch (6 oz.) graham cracker crust
1 can (12 fl. oz.) Nestlé® Carnation® Evaporated Milk
2 large egg yolks
2 cups (12 oz.) Nestlé® Toll House® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
Whipped cream (optional)
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Whisk together evaporated milk and egg yolks in medium saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is very hot and thickens slightly; do not boil. Remove from heat; stir in morsels until completely melted and mixture is smooth.
Pour into crust. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm. Top with whipped cream and nuts before serving.
Makes 10 servings
Morsels Quality Tip
Store in a cool and dry place (60 to 70°F). Morsels develop a "whitish" appearance (bloom) when stored at varying temperatures or in high humidity. Flavor and quality will not be affected and bloom will disappear once melted.
