McCormick® Tarragon Leaves add a bittersweet, herb flavor to chicken, seafood and vegetables. Its distinctive taste also enhances mushrooms, vinaigrettes, cream sauces and soups. Our tarragon is dried within hours of harvest so that it retains bright green color and fresh herb flavor. The light to dark green leaves are pleasantly aromatic with a licorice-like taste. Use to flavor vinegar, herb butter, and dressings for potato, tuna, chicken and egg salads. It is an essential herb in classic French cuisine in béarnaise sauce, tarragon chicken and herb omelet. Use a light hand when adding this fragrant herb to your dishes and add it near the end of the cooking time. Substitute 1 tsp. dried tarragon for 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh tarragon.
