Recipe size: 1 cup; Brown Gravy Mix: 3 tbsp.; Hot water: 1 cup
Recipe size: 1 quart; Brown Gravy Mix:3/4 cup; Hot water: 1 qt.
Recipe size: 1-1/3 gal.; Brown Gravy Mix: Full bottle; Hot water: 1-1/3 gal. (1 gal. plus 5 cups)

Directions
1. Stir water gradually into Gravy Mix with whisk in saucepan.
2. Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boll. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. (Gravy will thicken upon standing). Serve over mashed potatoes, beef, meat loaf, hot meat sandwiches or noodles.
Microwave directions (1 cup recipe): Stir water into Gravy Mix in 1 1/2-quart microwavable bowl. Microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute.
Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate.

Kitchen tips
Homestyle Brown Gravy: Use 1/4 cup beef pan drippings and 3/4 cup water to prepare gravy.
Herbed Mushroom Brown Gravy: Use 3/4 cup water to prepare gravy. Stir 1 cup chopped or sliced sautéed mushrooms and 1/4 tsp. McCormick thyme leaves into prepared gravy.
