German Meatballs & Sauerkraut Sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 medium onion, minced
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
3 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp olive oil
1 can (27.0 oz.) Libby's® Jumbo-Can® Crispy Sauerkraut, drained
2 cans (10.5 oz.) cream of mushroom condensed soup
1 cup milk
In large bowl, combine beef, pork, onion, breadcrumbs, parsley, paprika, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and egg. Shape into 18 meatballs; chill 15 minutes. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high. Brown meatballs on all sides. Add sauerkraut, soup and milk to skillet. Mix well. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
