Basic Graham Style Crust
1 pkg. Kinnikinnick Graham Style Crumbs (300 g)
5 tbsp soft butter
• With a pastry cutter or your hands, combine Kinnikinnick Graham Crumbs and softened butter.
• For a 9” spring form pan or 9” pie plate - grease the sides of the pan. Press prepared crumb into base and slightly up sides of prepared pan. Follow directions of your favorite recipe.
Lemon Cheesecake
1 pkg. Kinnikinnick Graham Style Crumbs (300 g)
3 tbsp soft butter
3 (8 oz) pkgs. cream cheese
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup sour cream (full fat)
3 eggs
1 lemon zested
• Wrap the outside of a 9” (23 cm) springform pan with 2 layers of aluminum foil to create a waterproof barrier. Lightly grease the sides of the pan.
• With a pastry cutter or your hands combine Kinnikinnick graham crumbs & butter in a medium bowl. Press into the pan base and up the sides about half an inch. Set aside.
• Preheat oven to 325°F.
• In a medium bowl beat cream cheese until smooth, scraping down in between mixing (approx. 5-7 min). Add granulated sugar and sour cream, mix until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, scraping down bowl after each addition. Add lemon zest to creamed mixture. Mix until combined.
• Pour batter over prepared graham crumb base.
• Place filled springform pan in a roasting pan into the oven. Pour enough hot water into the roasting pan to come halfway up the sides of the sprinform pan.
• Bake for 60-70 min.
• Cool for 15 min before refrigerating for minimum 4 hrs.
• Remove from fridge and remove outer pan ring. Carefully lift off serving base onto serving tray. Serve with your favorite fruit topping or sauce.
