Iron Chef General Tso's Sauce & Glaze, 15 oz
General Tso's Chicken
1 1/2 tbsp. oil
1/2 lb. chicken thigh meat
1/2 lb. broccoli florets
1/2 cup Iron Chef™ General Tso's Sauce & Glaze
Heat oil in skillet and stir fry chicken. Add sauce and chicken until evenly coated (30 seconds). Garnish with steamed broccoli and serve with rice.
GT Pork Ribs
3 lbs babyback or spare pork ribs
1 1/2 cups Iron Chef™ General Tso's Sauce
Place pork in a dish (or use a zip lock bag) and cover with Iron Chef™ General Tso's sauce. Cover dish and marinate pork in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cover dish in tin foil and place in oven for 45 minutes. For a crispier rib, remove foil with 10 minutes remaining. Ribs can also be cooked over medium flame on a BBQ.
Shrimp with Snow Peas
1 red bell pepper washed, seeded, cut into 1/4 inch strips
1/2 small white onion cut in julienne strips
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb snow peas stemmed
1 lb shrimp peeled, de-veined, remove tails
1 medium garlic clove peeled & chopped
1 cup Iron Chef™ General Tso's
1 bunch scallions (1/4 cup)
Blanch snow peas, red pepper, and onion in boiling water until crisp-tender (2-3 minutes). Drain. Heat non-stick wok or skillet on high. Add vegetable oil until smoking slightly. Add garlic and shrimp, stir-fry 2 minutes. Add Iron Chef™ General Tso's and pepper, stir for 2 minutes. Add vegetables, stir to heat through (approximately 30 seconds). Add scallions.
Refrigerate after opening
