Yellow split pea soup
1 lb. Goya® dry Yellow Split Peas
2 packets Goya® powdered Beef Bouillon
1 small onion, chopped
1 medium carrot, diced
1 stalk celery, chopped
Salt and pepper
Sort and rinse peas. In a 6 to 8 quart pot, combine 6 cups of water and all the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until peas are tender. Add more water if necessary. Top with croutons if desired. Serves 6.
