Goya Roman Beans, 4 lbs
Classic roman beans and rice
½ cup Goya® dry Roman Beans
2 tbsp. Goya® Olive Oil
½ cup smoked ham, chopped
½ cup onion, chopped
¼ cup green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. Goya® Minced Garlic
1 packet Sazón Goya® with Coriander and Annatto
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. ground pepper
¼ tsp. Goya® Oregano Leaf
Cooked white rice
Sort and wash beans. In a large saucepan, soak bean in 4 cups of water. Do not drain. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Stir in ham, onion, pepper, and garlic until tender. Stir mixture into beans. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer until beans are tender. Add more hot water if necessary. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook 10 minutes longer. Serve over hot cooked rice. Serves 4.
