Goya Canilla Extra Long Grain Enriched Rice, 5 lb
Recipe for Spanish white rice
• In a heavy saucepan, place two (2) cups of Canilla rice, one (1) tablespoon of Goya Vegetable or Olive Oil or butter, one (1) teaspoon of salt and four (4) cups of water.
• While stirring, bring to a boil. Then reduce heat, cover and allow to simmer until water is absorbed.
Goya's Classic Rice & Beans
2 tablespoons Goya Olive Oil
1/2 cup ham, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup Goya Tomato Sauce
1/4 teaspoon oregano
3/4 cup water
1 15.5 oz. can Goya Beans, undrained (Red kidney, pink, small reds, roman or pinto)
1 packet Sazón Goya con Culantro y Achiote
• Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add ham, onions, pepper and garlic; cook 10 minutes.
• Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
• Serve over warm white Canilla Rice. Serves 3-4.
