Goya Black Beans, 16 oz
Classic black beans with rice
1/2 lb. Goya® dry Black Beans
2 tbsp. Goya® Olive Oil
1/2 cups onions, chopped
¼ cup green peppers, chopped
1 tsp. Goya® Minced Garlic
1 tsp. oregano
1 packet Sazón Goya® without Annatto
2 tbsp. Goya® White Wine or cider vinegar
¼ tsp. ground pepper
Cooked white rice
Soak and rinse beans. In a large saucepan, soak beans in 4 cups of water. Do not drain. Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, pepper, and garlic; cook until tender; about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients.
Stir mixture into saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until beans are tender. Serve over hot cooked white rice. Serves 4.
