Sautéed Kale
16 oz. Glory® Fresh Kale
2 garlic cloves (finely sliced)
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup chicken/vegetable stock or water
2 tbsp. red-wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste (about 1 tsp. each)
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add sliced garlic and cook until soft. Add Glory® Fresh Kale and stock to pan and increase heat to high, toss ingredients and combine. Lower heat to medium and cover for 5 minutes. Remove cover and cook until all the liquid is evaporated. Add vinegar and salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Kale Chips
16 oz. Glory® Fresh Kale, (1 bag)
2 tbsp. olive oil
Sea salt to taste (about 2 tsp.)
Preheat oven to 350°.
Dry 16 oz. Glory® Fresh Kale leaves in a salad spinner or with paper towels. Place dried kale in a large bowl and toss with olive oil. Add sea salt. Place kale in a single layer on one or two cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, or until kale is crisp and turning brown.
*Try sprinkling your chips with parmesan cheese or Italian seasoning.
