Our Lasagne Sheets are the secret to perfecting any lasagne recipe. Our pasta's special texture means the pasta cooks quickly in the oven, and holds your dish together for the most flavor in each bite.
Meat Lasagne with Ricotta
• 1 pkg. Giovanni Rana™ Lasagne Sheets
• 20 oz meat sauce
• 1 can (14.5 oz) diced or stewed tomatoes
• 1 tsp butter
• 1 1/2 cup ricotta
• 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
• 1/2 cup grated parmigiano reggiano
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9"x13" baking dish with butter.
2. Combine meat sauce and tomatoes. Set aside.
3. Combine ricotta, one cup of mozzarella, and parmigiano reggiano.
4. Remove paper and place two lasagne sheets side by side in baking dish. Spread 1/4 of the meat sauce mixture over lasagna sheets and dot with 1/3 of the cheese mixture. Repeat step.
5. Spread sauce over top and dot with remaining cheese mixture, mozzarella and parmigiano reggiano.
6. Cover lasagne with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove foil for last 4-5 minutes to brown cheese if desired.
