Diamond Cookie Pie
½ cup butter or margarine, softened
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 package (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 cup Diamond of California® walnuts
1 (9-inch) Diamond of California® Ready to Use Walnut Pie Crust
In large bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Blend in flour. Stir in chocolate pieces and walnuts. Pour mixture into Diamond of California® ready to use Walnut Pie Crust. Bake on center rack at 325°F for 50 to 55 minutes, or until top is golden brown and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Makes one 9-inch pie
