Simple Authentic Marinara
• 1 (28-oz.) can DeLallo San Marzano Style Whole Peeled Italian Tomatoes
• 1/4 cup DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 3 cloves garlic, sliced
• 1 tsp. DeLallo Kosher Salt
• 4 basil leaves, torn
Pour tomatoes into a large bowl and crush by hand. In a large saucepan, heat olive oil on a medium setting. Once hot, add garlic and cook just until it becomes golden.
Stir in crushed tomatoes and salt. Bring to a quick boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 min.
Remove from heat and stir in torn basil leaves. Toss with hot pasta to serve.
