Amatriciana Sauce
• 2 small onions, finely chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 lb. pancetta, diced
• 2 tbsp. DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 1/2 tsp. red chili pepper flakes
• Salt and pepper
• 1 (28-oz) can DeLallo San Marzano Style Crushed Italian Tomatoes
• 1 lb. DeLallo pasta
• DeLallo Grated Pecorino Romano, for serving
In a large saucepan, simmer onions, garlic and pancetta in olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Once onions are soft, about 5 min., turn up heat to medium.
Add tomatoes to the pan. Bring to a quick boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 min.
Toss with hot pasta and sprinkle with Pecorino Romano to serve.
