Bridgford Parkerhouse Style Rolls Dough, 24 count, 25 oz
Monkey Bread Coffee Cake
1 package Bridgford Parkerhouse Rolls
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 package (3 3/4 oz.) butterscotch pudding mix, (regular pudding mix, not instant, works best)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Lightly grease a tube pan (bundt or angel food). Mix together both sugars, pudding mix and cinnamon; set aside. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar mix on the bottom of prepared pan. Sprinkle pecans over this; set aside. Dip each piece of dough (thawed or frozen) in melted butter and roll in remaining sugar mixture. Place in pan evenly. Top with any remaining butter and sugar mixture. Let the dough rise in a warm area until double in size (do not let the dough come over the top of the pan). Preheat oven to 350°. Place tube pan on a large cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven for 25-35 minutes or until well browned. Remove from oven and invert on large serving plate. Serve warm.
Pepperoni Monkey Bread
1 package Bridgford Parkerhouse Rolls
2 oz. sliced Bridgford Pepperoni (about 28 thin slices)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup butter, melted
Let dough thaw. Divide each roll piece in half; set aside. Lightly grease a 12 cup bundt cake pan; set aside. In a medium size bowl, combine Parmesan, oregano, and garlic. With kitchen shears, cut the pepperoni slices into smaller pieces and mix into cheese mixture; set aside. Dip each dough piece in butter and then coat in pepperoni/cheese mixture. Place coated balls of dough evenly in pan. Let the dough rise until double in size. Bake in a 350° oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on top. Remove from oven and invert out of pan upside down on a large plate. Serve with marinara sauce if desired.
Best used by date stamped on the front of bag, or within 30 days after purchase.
Keep frozen until ready to bake. If dough defrosts before preparation, the yeast may become less active and the dough may not rise fully.
