Fresh Baked Rolls
One loaf Bridgford Ready-Dough, thawed
Melted butter or margarine
Divide each loaf into 12 equal size pieces, and roll each piece into a ball. Place in an 8" cake pan, 12-cavity muffin pan, or on a sheet pan (2-3 inches apart). Brush dough with melted butter or margarine. Let rise until double in size. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and pan to cool on wire rack. Brush with additional butter or margarine if desired.
Homemade Pizza
One loaf Bridgford Ready-Dough, thawed
5 oz. pizza sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 400°. Roll or stretch dough to fit a lightly greased 12" round pizza pan or 9" x 12" cookie sheet. Let rest and stretch again. Prick dough several times with fork. Brush dough with olive oil or melted butter. Bake crust for 10 minutes in preheated oven. Remove from oven. Spread with sauce and top with cheeses. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. For variety, top with pepperoni, cooked sausage, sliced mushrooms, olives, onions, or favorite toppings. For a thicker crust, let dough rise (30 minutes) before first baking.
Cinnamon Rolls
One loaf Bridgford Ready-Dough, thawed
4 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup chopped nuts, and/or raisins
2 tsp. cinnamon
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out to a 10" x 12" rectangle. Spread dough with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Mix sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Set aside 2 tablespoons for use later. Sprinkle mixture over dough. Beginning with 12" side, roll dough tightly in jelly-roll fashion. Cut dough into 12 pieces. Place pieces in a lightly-greased 13" x 9" cake pan or into a 12-cavity muffin pan. Brush tops with 1 tablespoon melted butter and sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Let rolls rise until double in size. (For breakfast, rolls may be assembled the evening before, then loosely covered with plastic wrap, and placed in the refrigerator to rise over night). Bake in a 350° oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with remaining melted butter. To frost, mix 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons milk or cream and 1 tsp. vanilla. Drizzle onto rolls.
Best used by date on the white clip closing the bag, or within 30 days after purchase. Keep frozen until ready to bake. If dough defrosts before preparation, the yeast may become less active and the dough may not rise fully.
