Creamy Candy Cane Cocoa
Ingredients
• ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• ¾ cup sugar
• pinch of salt
• ⅓ cup boiling water
• 3½ cups of milk
• ¾ tsp. vanilla extract
Toppings
• Whipped cream or marshmallows
• 4 Brach's candy canes (1 piece per serving)
Directions
Stir together cocoa, sugar and salt in saucepan. Add in boiling water. Bring this mixture to a slight boil while stirring for approximately 2 minutes. Stir in the milk increasing heat slightly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into 4 mugs. Stir with your favorite flavored candy cane and top with whipped cream or marshmallows. This recipe works great with our entire line of Brach's candy canes.
