Bowl & Basket White Crème Baking Chips, 12 oz
White crème chip coconut blondies - ingredients (makes 36 bars)
1 ½ cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter
3 cups light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
2 cups sweetened
coconut flakes
2 cups Bowl & Basket™ white crème baking chips
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment and spray with pan release. Over medium-high heat, in a small saucepan, melt the butter. Continue cooking an additional 5-7 minutes or until the butter starts to brown. Transfer butter to a large bowl and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Meanwhile in a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt and stir in coconut. Add the brown sugar to the melted butter and stir until combined. Stir in the egg and vanilla and add the flour mixture. Mix until thoroughly combined. Stir in the white crème baking chips. Spread the batter into the pan and bake 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat in an airtight container.
For best results, and to avoid discoloration, do not refrigerate or freeze.
