Icing for German Chocolate Cake
Bake German Chocolate Cake Mix According to Directions. Cool and Frost with the Following Icing:
2 egg yolks
3/4 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp margarine
1 1/2 cups bowl & basket™ sweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 tsp vanilla
Beat egg yolks; add milk, sugar and margarine. Cook over medium heat for about 12 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add coconut, pecans and vanilla. Spread on cake.
