Asian Inspired Broiled Salmon
• 1 package bowl & basket™ salmon fillets
• ¼ cup olive oil
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• ½ tsp dried thyme
• ½ tsp dried parsley
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp fresh ground pepper
• lemon slices, for serving
• chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions
1. Preheat broiler.
2. Generously grease baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl whisk together olive oil with the minced garlic, brown sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, dried parsley, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
4. Add salmon fillets to the mixture and coat evenly.
5. Transfer salmon to previously prepared pan skin side down.
6. Broil for approximately 12-14 minutes, or until salmon is lightly browned and cooked through (opaque and flakes easily when pierced with a fork).
7. Remove from oven.
8. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and sautéed asparagus.
