Pancakes with milk chocolate chips - ingredients (serves 4-6)
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour, sifted
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp sugar
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
4 tbsp melted butter
1 cup Bowl & Basket™ milk chocolate baking chips
Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until foamy and stir in the buttermilk and melted butter. Stir in the flour and chocolate chips until combined; batter may have a few small lumps. Preheat a nonstick pan or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease pan and pour ¼ cup batter onto pan. Cook 3-4 minutes per side. Serve with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar if desired.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat in an airtight container. For best results, and to avoid discoloration, do not refrigerate or freeze. A gray-white film may form on chocolate as a result of exposure to too much heat or moisture. This does not indicate spoilage.
