Sweet & Sour Turkey Thighs
Ingredients
• 3 ½-4 lbs Bowl & Basket™ Fresh Turkey Thighs
• ½ cup Bowl & Basket™ flour
• 1 tbsp Bowl & Basket™ vegetable oil
• 1 medium Bowl & Basket™ onion, chopped
• 1 ½ cup water
• ¾ cup Bowl & Basket™ ketchup
• ½ cup Bowl & Basket™ apple cider vinegar
• 1 tbsp Bowl & Basket™ honey
• ½ tsp cloves
• 1 tsp Bowl & Basket™ cinnamon
Directions
Coat thighs with flour. Brown on both sides in hot vegetable oil in large skillet or dutch oven. Add onion and sauté a few minutes; then add water, ketchup, vinegar, honey and spices. Bring to full boil. Cover and reduce heat to simmer.
Cook 1 ½ hours or until turkey is tender. Serves 6-8
