Bowl & Basket Butterscotch Baking Chips, 11 oz
Toffee - ingredients (makes 12 servings)
1 ½ cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter
2 cups white sugar
½ cup dark brown sugar
3 tbsp corn syrup
1 ½ cups Bowl & Basket™ butterscotch flavored baking chips
½ cup Bowl & Basket™ mini chocolate chips
In a medium sized heavy bottomed saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and stir in the white sugar, brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir until dissolved. Bring to a simmer and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until mixture reaches 300°F on a candy thermometer. Pour mixture onto a parchment lined sheet pan and allow to cool 5 minutes. Sprinkle the butterscotch chips over the toffee. Using an offset spatula, spread the butterscotch chips over the toffee until they have melted and the toffee is evenly coated. Top with mini chocolate chips. Cool completely before serving.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat in an airtight container. For best results, and to avoid discoloration, do not refrigerate or freeze.
