Ingredients
• 2 1/2 cups bowl & basket™ all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons bowl & basket™ granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
• 3/4 cup bowl & basket™ all-vegetable shortening
• 1/2 cup ice water
Directions
In food processor, pulse flour, sugar and salt until combined. Scatter shortening over flour mixture; pulse until shortening is cut into the flour and it resembles pea-sized crumbs. Add ice water, a little at a time, pulsing after each addition until mixture holds together when pinched between fingers. Shape dough into 2 (5-inch) disks; wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour or up to 3 days before using. Makes 2 pie crusts.
Chef Tip
Dough can be frozen up to 3 months. Use in your favorite double- or single-crust pie recipe; for an unbaked pie, dock dough in pan with fork and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
