Traditional Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
• 2 unbaked pastry pie shells
• 6 eggs, slightly beaten
• 2 cups granulated sugar or light brown sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp cloves
• ½ tsp nutmeg
• ½ tsp ginger
• 1 can (29oz) Bowl & Basket™ Pumpkin
• 2 cups evaporated milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine eggs, sugar, salt and spices. Beat well. Blend in bowl & basket™ Pumpkin. Add milk. Beat well. Pour into pastry shells.
Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Pies are done when knife inserted in center comes out clean. After serving store in refrigerator.
Refrigerate Any Unused Portion in a Glass or Plastic-Covered Container.
