Boar's Head Fermented Sauerkraut, 16 oz
Using an old German recipe, Boar's Head Sauerkraut is aged authentically for a crisp, slightly tart, and altogether irresistible taste. It's a great topping for Boar's Head Frankfurters and a delightful side for our Kielbasa and Knockwurst; it cooks up wonderfully when used in a variety of recipes.

Classic Reuben Sandwich
1 lb. Boar's Head Sauerkraut
2 tbs. thousand island dressing
8 slices of pumpernickel or dark rye bread
1 lb. Boar's Head corned beef - sliced thin
4 slices Boar's Head swiss cheese softened butter
Drain, but do not rinse, sauerkraut and combine with thousand island dressing. Top four halves of bread with sauerkraut mixture followed by 4 oz. of corned beef and one slice of swiss cheese. Close with second slice of bread. Spread top and bottom of sandwich with soft butter. Grill on both sides until warmed through and cheese melts. Serve hot!
Makes 4 sandwiches.
